I'm sure we all are! This mom right here has almost lost her lid everyday. By the grace of god, he has helped me keep my composure during these grueling times. Here's a little snippet of what this past week was like. Nalah's first day of school was an absolute disaster, some middle school kid hacked the system for two days. A lot of students were unable to access the portals. A lot of students didn't have the device they needed to complete there assignments. Worst of all the communication SUCKS! NO ONE knows what the heck they are doing. I feel bad for the teachers and parents who work full time. It was hard for me to juggle the twins schedule along with Nalah's school schedule. There a multiple platforms and the teachers aren't the best at letting everyone know where they need to be online. I have realized that I am the lunch lady, school bell & tech wizard. How can you expect 4th graders to do things that adults can't? I had to drive with Nalah in the car on a hotspot with my husband's laptop just to make sure she was up to date. Why does all of this fall on us parents? Who would have thought society would have been so severely impacted by a virus... IN 2020, I guess the good thing is we are all going through this together. I have learned the days your not getting you a** kicked give those day 150%. The hard days those days are hardest to recover from. I love my journal, I make notes or list of things I want to accomplish or I WILL FORGET. Just little things that help me get through these challenging time. I figured I would pass along to you! Thank you and shout out to those of you viewing my page, glad we are on the crazy journey together.
Over Covid!
